The Covenant Ranch... There are few ranches in Texas that carry such a famous existence. Known by thousands for its legendary whitetail deer hunting, this crown jewel of Texas hunting ranches is now available. With over eighty-nine hundred acres in the heart of the famed Golden Triangle, the Covenant Ranch is easily accessible from San Antonio.

The Covenant boasts a beautiful 300 acre lake - the largest privately-owned lake in South Texas. An additional fifty-acre lake and dozens of stock tanks provide an abundance of water. Combined with some of the best wildlife habitat in the region, the Covenant produces some of the most sought-after game in the world.

Facilities include a ten bedroom stone lodge overlooking the lake, a 10,000 square-foot ranch headquarters with 3 bedroom apartment, offices, game cleaning room with walk-in cooler and freezer, workshop, and helicopter pad; ranch managers house; two metal equipment barns; horse barn; dog kennel and water treatment plant. A custom-built shooting tower allows for shots of up to twenty-five hundred yards. With a thirty-eight hundred foot paved runway, the ranch provides for convenient access from anywhere in the country.

Being entirely high-fenced with five DMP pens and under an intensive wildlife management program for decades, the Covenant boasts some of the absolute best trophy Whitetail hunting in the state - both as a result of sound management practices along with an abundance of surface water throughout the ranch.

Potable water for the facilities are provided by an off-site water well, which is pumped to the ranch and then treated utilizing a state-of-the-art Culligan water treatment system before being stored in two 50,000 gallon tanks.

While the mineral estate of the ranch has been partially severed over the years, a portion of the mineral and royalty interests are available to convey with the ranch.
